Dr. Cohen and his staff are very pleasant. They treat you like a friend rather than just a patient. I was able to re-schedule my appointment three times without any problems and/or any attitudes and I was able to see Dr. Cohen right on time. I am also a freak when it comes to pain, and Dr. Cohen was able to complete the whole treatment without much pain. :) I was very pleased with the whole experience.‎

I recently went in for a root canal and was not impressed with some of the girls in the front office.Although I was offered tea when I came in the girls were too busy laughing among themselves and talking about things that should not be discussed in a professional office.The second young lady I spoke with had on something that you might see at a night club. Her skirt was very short and her blouse was so low with too much cleavage for a professional office, she was answering personal phone calls while speaking with me and whoever she was speaking with she was very rude to them and had a very nasty attitude. I hope she does not speak to patientslike that. However when I did get to the back with Dr. Cohen him and his back office staff were very professional.Too expensive though.

Impressive resume, beautiful offices, dental receptionist who offers you tea. Unfortunately, some of the basics seem to have been forgotten.

I was right on time for my 2 p.m. appointment, my new patient forms filled out. I waited 45 minutes in the reception area, then another 30 minutes in the chair for the root canal to be done.

The instruction sheet given to me afterwards was a little confusing. On the one hand, I was to expect "mild soreness " for a few days, "especially with chewing." On the other hand, II should "chew on the opposite side of my mouth" until the soreness subsided.

I would like to have seen a warning to patients that there might be some side effects with the prescribed antibiotic. I had intestinal problems the entire time I took it. Since I hadn't heard of it, let alone taken it, it wasn't something that I could put on the patient form that the doctor needed to avoid giving me.

Instructions on brushing and flossing weren't given by the dentist. It would be nice to include them on the sheet since a patient can be a little "out of it" after the root canal.

There was a moment of humor when the receptionist offered me a cup of tea when I re-entered the reception area. I have an image of it going down my chin due to my numbed lip.

Would I go back to Dr. Cohen? I'm not sure. What I'm experiencing in my tooth is not the "mild soreness" mentioned in the information sheet.

Good for the patients who form his "fan club." I hope they continue to be satisfied.

I was having dental pain on a Friday afternoon and my dentist was closed on Fridays. I called around and finally found Dr. Cohen. I called and they immediately got me in and did and emergency root canal in 30 minutes. I managed to get across town and keep my barber appointment. The girls at the front desk were funny and warm and made the experience all the better. I highly recommend Dr. Cohen.
