Great Customer Service/Staff, Good Experience

First time at this hotel. Staff was great and very accomodating. Extremely Kid Friendly. They brought a Gold Fish into our room:-) The rooms were beautifully decorated, the wine hour was great along with the beautiful lounge. I can't say enough how friendly the staff were! Everyone from the doorman, front desk, to the maids always greeted us with a genuine smile.

No Longer a Hyatt hotel

Pls be advised that hyatt hotel and resorts dont owned this bldg no longer. They are now a renter of this bldg for unlimited time. The staff are still up to hyatt standard but the serviced somewhat not there any longer. Pls be advised. Still a lovely property.

Fun Hotel

I'll always remember the general manager being nice to us when we wanted to film a pilot here in 2004. The lobby is fun. They used to have free happy hr with a good DJ. Rooms are decorated with unique style. A little small, but who cares.

Very nice hotel with nice service

I am surprised by the quality of the rooms comfortable and reasonable. The front desk staff were friendliest, helpful people I've ever come across. The property (Hotel) is clean and tidy. The hotel also has a cute restaurant and a computer with internet access, which is very convenient. Service was wonderful, everyone very helpful and friendly. Wine in the lobby every evening is wonderful....

Beautiful hotel, nice location, convenient access to coffee, food, shopping. Employees very nice, friendly. Lex, the concierge, was particularly helpful with directions and suggestions of places to shop, visit, etc.

Legendary Party Spot

The Phoenix is, to this day, where touring rockers touch down in SF. It's definitely a party hotel, although staff is known to roust unrulies...but that's to be expected; some people are actually trying to sleep.

They have bathtubs on the roof that are available for soaking in after a long day of sightseeing... so nice. The whole place is very Zen. I was there the first weekend they were open and have been back, the second time as a resident of SF, not a visitor. Delightful.
