Great service

I recently had my locks changed by these guys, and they did a great job. The locks look and work great, and the locksmith was highly professional. He didn't try to overcharge me, and didn't wind up messing up my doors like the guy who fixed my neighbor's locks. I was expecting to have to make an appointment, but he was able to come out and get the job done right away. Saved me a lot of hassle.

alex came out to fix the lock to my apartment (key broke off in the lock). he showed up early, and finished the job in minutes - removed the broken key, did some filing so the door would lock/unlock easily, and made an extra key. he didn't charge me much and was very professional and helpful.

Friendly, Prompt, and Reliable

I'm not proud of this, but I've had to use these guys three or four times in the past couple of years. Each time they showed up very quickly, the locksmith was friendly, and most importantly, they don't hold you over the coals in price. Their prices are more than fair. Great service! I'd recommend them to anyone who has a tendancy to lock themselves out.

I had to fix one of my buzzers for my lobby, and decided to give Metro Locksmiths a call. They were very professional over the phone, and great in person. They were top notch with my problem, and instead of just patching up the problem, they did a overhaul to permanently fix the problem. My buzzer has been working great since. With friendly service and a pretty full selection, Progress Hardware is a great resource for the Inner Sunset. When I don't want to trek down to Home Depot for major purchases, I am usually able to find what I need here. Not to mention that I would much rather support this small neighborhood store. Prices are reasonable and the location is incredibly convenient.

I think that I should probably keep their number in all of my phones and possibly get it tattooed to my body. This place has saved my life in a number of situations. I have been locked out of car and home a number of time and they always are there to help. They take a while to come, but can always get you where you need to be...namely inside of your house.

Although located in the bad area of the city, Sams Locksmith does a very good repairing our business locks. They are very professional, and prompt in there service. They also specialize in auto locks, and seem to be very knowledge in there field. Prices are fair, however in other parts of the city, you may find more adequate prices.
