Excellent Service!!!

The service here is excellent! I went to my dealership and I felt totally taken advantge of but when I brought my car to Sunset Service they took great care of me and they didn't overcharge me at all. I received great, quick, wonderful service and as a woman, that's rare from an auto repair shop. They allowed me to use a renatl car while they worked on my car and really, really were just...

Fixed tire fine by anon y. at InsiderPages

Took my car in for a flat tire problem. They fixed it for around $40 I think. No problems and they'd parked my car in a good spot after finishing, so I didn't have to find street parking after I got it back.

Not a happy camper

They only gave me a quote to check the brakes when I brought my 4WD vehicle in to get new brakes. They then billed me $200 more that the final quote they gave me over the phone. Since I didn't have a written estimate it was their word against mine. The brake job cost 98 cents shy of $1000! I later got a quote from a dealer -- $782.

why people don't trust mechanics

I spent over $1000 on tires and alignment. When I left the tire was rubbing on the wheel well. I returned the car suggested with success how to correct the problem. One rep said "there will be no charges". On picking up the car a second rude Manager charged me an additional $45 and insulted me stating that I have a language barrier. I have an older model Volvo which I intend to drive until it stops running. Tom and Calvin and all of the guys do a great job keeping my old car running.
